Celeb Nudes Are Good For Their Careers, Not Yours
It seems like every week we read about a celeb’s phone getting hacked and nude pictures splashing all over the internet. You know who we’re talking about – we won’t mention names since we don’t want visits from all their lawyers.
For our celebrity-hungry culture, access to private photos is just more of what we want – admit it, you look the pictures up when they get leaked to the interwebs. We all do.
But here’s the thing: Lots of people take nude photos of themselves, and most of them are not celebrities. You may have some of your own, maybe even a video.
YOUR leaked photos getting on the web could mean major embarrassment to you, your family, significant other, or even your career. It has significant consequences that probably don’t include selling a bunch more records or movie tickets. Mainly it just means someone will email your mom with the subject line “HOLY SHIT IS THIS [YOUR NAME HERE]?!?!?!?”
If someone gives you the gift of nudes, don’t put them where somebody can find them. Lock ‘em up on your iPad with DragNSYNC. No one will find them, and you won’t become the next scandal.
